Overview
- Lead the Maternal Child Health Services department, ensuring high-quality care and operational excellence.
- Oversee strategic direction, clinical quality, and service line growth initiatives.

- Champion evidence-based practices, family-centered care, and health equity.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting and resource allocation.

- Represent the department in community outreach programs and health coalitions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide leadership to Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU, Lactation, and Community Outreach services.
- Develop strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and community health needs.
- Monitor clinical operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives using data-driven metrics.
- Manage departmental budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Recruit, develop, and retain nursing staff while fostering a culture of accountability.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination.
- Lead community outreach programs addressing maternal health disparities.
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience; 8 years preferred.
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and NICU nursing.
- Proven track record in budget management and quality improvement.
- Knowledge of California perinatal regulations and CMS standards.
- Certification in nursing leadership or maternal/child specialty preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
