Job Description

Overview

  • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics management, ensuring efficient processes and timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize procurement and improve lead times, fostering positive relationships.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage a dynamic team, promoting employee engagement and professional development within the warehouse environment.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor inventory levels, prevent stock-outs, and address operational challenges effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to prevent inventory shrinkage and occupational hazards.
  • Provide actionable insights and updates to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Support large-scale order fulfillment for key clients, maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily order processing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Track and manage inventory levels, implementing strategies to prevent stock-outs and deadstock.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for inventory control, logistics, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Optimize vendor relationships, improving procurement efficiency and reducing lead times.
  • Manage and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with senior management to align warehouse operations with organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory and warehouse management systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems integration and functional management.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies and solutions.
