Job Description

Overview

  • Support dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to maintain efficient daily operations.
  • Ensure patient comfort and support throughout dental procedures.
  • Take high-quality dental radiographs, including X-rays and CBCT scans.
  • Accurately manage and update patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure safety and hygiene.
  • Provide assistance during general dentistry and oral surgery procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist dentists in performing a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain clinical cleanliness.
  • Take and process dental radiographs, including Panorex and CBCT scans.
  • Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide support during dental procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
  • Provide excellent communication and patient service skills.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience assisting in general dentistry.
  • Proficiency in taking and processing dental radiographs.
  • Professional, punctual, and reliable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills.
  • Own transportation required for potential travel between locations.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to work Saturdays.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and clinical safety standards.
