Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential support to dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Assist in general dentistry and oral surgery procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining strict infection control protocols.
  • Take and manage high-quality dental radiographs, including X-rays and CBCT scans.
  • Accurately update and manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with a professional team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Work onsite in a well-equipped dental office with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist dentists during procedures, providing necessary tools and support.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Take and process dental radiographs, ensuring high-quality imaging.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide support before, during, and after treatments.
  • Accurately document patient information and update records as needed.
  • Follow established infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize daily operations and patient care.
  • Provide excellent communication and patient service skills to enhance experiences.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in general dentistry assistance.
  • Proficiency in taking dental radiographs, including X-rays and CBCT scans.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient service.
  • Reliable transportation for potential travel between office locations.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to work Saturdays.
