Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic operations and optimization of Microsoft 365 services for enterprise-wide use, ensuring robust security, compliance, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive automation initiatives using advanced PowerShell scripting to streamline processes and improve compliance.
  • Monitor and implement new M365 features, maintaining secure and efficient adoption practices.
  • Contribute to the organization’s Zero Trust security framework and hybrid identity management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational transparency and audit readiness.
  • Support integration of M365 services with on-premises and cloud platforms to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations and management of M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Administer device compliance and application protection policies through Intune.
  • Manage tenant settings, license allocation, and governance controls effectively.
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security and identity teams to address incidents and enhance security measures.
  • Support hybrid identity operations, including AAD Connect synchronization and related processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operational baselines to ensure audit readiness.
  • Monitor M365 roadmap updates and coordinate the secure adoption of new features.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in M365 operations.
  • Expertise in M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting purposes.
  • Knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, and device compliance policies.
  • Preferred certifications: MS-500, MS-100/MS-101, SC-300, AZ-500.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender suite and Purview Compliance tools.
  • Familiarity with API integrations or Graph API for M365 automation.
