Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and oversee CLO reporting operations within a dynamic financial services team, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Develop and refine proprietary models for CLO testing and trade approvals, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Provide detailed analyses and reporting to portfolio managers and trade desks, supporting informed investment strategies.
  • Support tax reporting and compliance efforts through meticulous data management and compilation.
  • Contribute to fund operations oversight, including covenant monitoring and performance evaluations.
  • Enhance workflows and processes within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
  • Expand expertise in bank loans, fixed income securities, and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain CLO models for compliance testing and trade approvals, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
  • Conduct pre-trade testing and approve trades using advanced proprietary models.
  • Review and reconcile trustee payment reports and manage extensive financial data sets.
  • Prepare weekly KPI snapshots and distribution analyses for stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis for audits, due diligence, and financial reviews.
  • Maintain borrowing base files and facilitate fundings or paydowns as required.
  • Refresh team metrics and prepare quarterly performance reports to highlight achievements.
  • Ensure accurate waterfall calculations for Risk Retention vehicles, maintaining compliance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service providers to achieve operational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in finance or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CLO reporting and operations; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with Wall Street Office, Aladdin, and Bloomberg is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills for managing and interpreting interconnected data sets.
  • Experience with legal documents such as Indentures and Credit Agreements is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for professional client collaboration.
