Senior Devops Engineer

Overview

• Drive operational excellence and reliability for critical systems in a hybrid work environment.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and compliant development processes.
• Collaborate on cloud-native modernization initiatives, emphasizing automation and AWS service integration.
• Provide mentorship on DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis to improve system reliability and performance metrics.
• Participate in on-call rotations, addressing production incidents with swift resolutions.
• Ensure compliance and security adherence within regulated environments.
• Collaborate with architects to implement modernization roadmaps and optimize infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
• Integrate toolchains for enhanced traceability and build integrity.
• Implement and manage secrets management and automated keystore solutions.
• Monitor and configure Kibana alerts, utilizing ELK Stack logs for troubleshooting.
• Standardize and secure Dockerfiles to meet stringent security requirements.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools for compliance.
• Support AWS service adoption and transition to managed services.
• Mentor teams on best practices for DevOps and cloud-native technologies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Active Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise software development and DevSecOps.
• 5+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation in secure environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for system reliability improvements.
