Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine estimates and project plans.
  • Monitor market trends and material costs to ensure competitive and realistic estimates.
  • Participate in bid preparation and submission processes, ensuring compliance with client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, project costs, and related documentation.
  • Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  • Engage in regular communication with clients and stakeholders to address queries and provide updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, with 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools used in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and cost analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site and engage directly with project teams and clients.
