Senior Superintendent – K-12/Commercial Construction

Overview

• Lead field operations for multifamily, commercial, and K-12 construction projects.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards are upheld across all project phases.
• Collaborate with project managers to align execution with budget and schedule goals.
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, field personnel management, and vendor relations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using advanced scheduling tools.
• Drive site safety culture and enforce compliance with all safety protocols.
• Conduct regular site meetings and progress updates to ensure project alignment.
• Resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost impacts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel across multiple trades.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Conduct daily site meetings and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and local stakeholders.
• Drive site safety culture and enforce all compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues to ensure project success.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10–15+ years of construction experience with strong field leadership skills.
• Proven experience as a Senior Superintendent on projects exceeding $20M.
• Diverse experience in multifamily, commercial, and K-12 construction projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, means, and sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage fast-paced job sites.
