Overview

  • Collaborate with a dynamic architecture team to deliver innovative commercial projects, including mixed-use developments, municipal buildings, and retail spaces.
  • Utilize CAD and Revit software for drafting and design, transitioning to Revit for ground-up projects while maintaining CAD for renovations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare architectural drawings and designs using CAD and Revit software, ensuring precision and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and execute project plans effectively.
  • Assist in the design and drafting of commercial and municipal projects, including renovations and new constructions.
  • Contribute to project documentation, including specifications and reports, maintaining organized records for reference.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project goals and deliverables, ensuring alignment with expectations.
  • Support the transition to Revit software for ground-up projects, enhancing drafting capabilities and project outcomes.
  • Apply lean project management principles to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural standards and regulations in all project phases.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting and design; 6 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Revit software, with a focus on transitioning to Revit for new projects.
  • Experience in commercial and municipal project design, including fire stations and police stations.
  • Knowledge of lean project management methodologies and their application in architectural projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a preference for in-office collaboration.
