Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop architectural plans and renderings.
  • Engage in schematic design tasks, including elevations, plans, and sections discussions.
  • Evaluate and adapt standard techniques to meet project requirements effectively.
  • Understand constructability in the context of budgets, building systems, codes, and materials.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary inputs, including MEP, construction methods, and budget considerations.
  • Prepare design presentation and construction documents with precision.
  • Maintain construction administration submittal logs and ensure compliance.
  • Support project leadership and contribute to client management activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and compile data for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy and innovation.
  • Generate creative ideas and provide input to enhance design processes.
  • Conduct work requiring judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation of methodologies.
  • Incorporate other disciplines into the design process for comprehensive solutions.
  • Prepare detailed presentation and construction documents for project execution.
  • Coordinate consultant documents, including plans, estimates, and reports.
  • Maintain logs for construction administration submittals.
  • Pursue continuing education and training in architecture and project management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design within a client services firm.
  • Professional design portfolio showcasing innovative and practical solutions.
  • Completed Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and actively pursuing registration.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to architectural projects.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary coordination.
