Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and manage civil/site engineering projects including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
  • Prepare construction documents, reports, and technical specifications for project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors.
  • Perform permitting and regulatory submissions at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required; PE license preferred or in progress.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil/site design; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of local codes, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience with public works or municipal projects is a plus.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff effectively.
