Overview
- Support data governance initiatives within a hybrid work environment, ensuring data integrity across platforms like Databricks and Salesforce.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain trusted and well-defined data for enterprise-wide applications.
- Execute data governance processes, specializing in investment banking, equities, and wealth management domains.
- Develop Python notebooks to automate data reconciliation and reduce manual efforts.
- Document and maintain business definitions, glossaries, and data domains for improved data management.
- Contribute to the implementation of data quality rules, monitoring, and dashboards for critical data domains.
- Provide training and communication materials to enhance user understanding of data policies and best practices.
- Prepare regular updates and metrics on governance and data quality activities for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Automate data reconciliation processes using Python notebooks based on business-defined rules.
- Assist data owners and stewards in documenting and maintaining data definitions and glossaries.
- Manage data issue logs, coordinate resolutions, and track outcomes across advisory businesses.
- Define and enforce data entry standards, mandatory fields, and validation rules for DealCloud programs.
- Collaborate with Data Solution Architects to ensure governed definitions are reflected in data models.
- Implement data quality rules and monitoring dashboards for key domains like deals and clients.
- Distribute updates and metrics on governance and data quality activities to stakeholders.
- Develop training materials to educate users on data policies and stewardship roles.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
- 3–6 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data profiling, and validation tasks.
- Familiarity with SQL for data investigations and rule validations.
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or DealCloud is preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance concepts, including stewardship models and issue management.
- Exposure to modern data environments such as Databricks is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
