Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in overseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
  • Support the Superintendent in managing on-site operations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to project activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment on-site.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to plan and optimize project execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with team members and subcontractors to achieve project milestones efficiently.
  • Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in scheduling and resource allocation to optimize productivity and minimize delays.
  • Resolve on-site issues and provide solutions to maintain project continuity.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of project activities and progress reports.
  • Support the Superintendent in managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision; 5 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
  • Experience with budget management and cost control in construction projects.
