Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in overseeing construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Support the Superintendent in supervising on-site activities and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Contribute to problem-solving efforts to address construction challenges and delays.
  • Participate in planning meetings and assist in developing project strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily on-site construction activities to ensure project goals are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
  • Inspect work progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction, preferably in multifamily projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic construction environments.
