Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Reconcile cash accounts and investment portfolios monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare journal entries and manage month-end closing processes within established deadlines.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports.
- Support the US Open operations, including reconciliation of merchandise sales and auditing registers.
- Assist with interim and year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Collaborate with investment record keepers to manage relationships and streamline processes.
- Perform ad hoc projects to support professional tennis and organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in all accounting activities.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and automated General Ledger systems like Lawson.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reconciliations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
- Knowledge of investment portfolio management and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in audit preparation and compliance with financial regulations.
