Overview

  • Lead financial strategy and governance for private credit accounting operations.
  • Ensure alignment of investment objectives with accounting treatment and reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage in-house accounting oversight for private credit funds and carry vehicles.
  • Provide expert accounting guidance on complex transactions and valuations.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party fund administrators for compliance.
  • Develop and maintain tailored accounting policies for private credit operations.
  • Coordinate financial reporting and risk management with corporate offices.
  • Support internal audit efforts and oversee external auditor relationships.
  • Collaborate across legal, tax, and operations teams for strategic initiatives.
  • Lead performance calculations for investor reporting and decision-making.
  • Drive infrastructure development to scale business growth efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required; CPA certification mandatory.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive accounting experience; private credit expertise preferred.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, investment accounting, and valuation methodologies.
  • Proven leadership in managing internal teams and third-party administrators.
  • Experience with multi-location team management and quarterly travel capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence strategic decisions.
  • Expertise in liquidity management frameworks and fund-level financing.
