Job Description

Overview

  • Manage treasury operations for a family office, including personal finances, family accounts, and charitable foundations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely bill payments across multiple entities, maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
  • Collaborate with private banking partners to manage banking activities and submit wire transfers.
  • Monitor cash balances and ensure adequate funding for upcoming obligations.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, allocating transactions for personal and household expenses.
  • Maintain organized financial records and digital filing systems, supporting administrative tasks.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using advanced tools and technologies.
  • Track spending against budgets, flagging variances or unusual activities proactively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage end-to-end treasury operations, ensuring invoice accuracy and proper approval processes.
  • Liaise with banking partners to facilitate financial transactions and maintain liquidity.
  • Reconcile financial accounts and manage credit card transactions for personal and household expenses.
  • Maintain organized financial records and support administrative functions, including mail routing and check deposits.
  • Implement process improvements leveraging tools like Ramp and exploring AI-driven solutions.
  • Track expenditures against budgets and flag variances or unusual activities for review.
  • Support vendor onboarding, including collecting banking details and verifying legitimacy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, operations, or administration.
  • Prior experience in a family office or financial services environment preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive financial information responsibly.
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology for process improvements and financial management.
  • Effective communication skills, comfortable liaising with vendors and banking partners.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
