Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to advanced manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain automated manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product design transfer and process validation activities.
  • Utilize technical skills to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Engage in continuous learning and cross-training across various manufacturing technologies and equipment.
  • Perform inspections, generate work orders, and address discrepancies to maintain operational excellence.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing and cleanroom production.
  • Support inventory and quality management processes through computer systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Set up, operate, and repair manufacturing equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot mechanical errors in production processes.
  • Utilize human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for process control and adjustments.
  • Inspect equipment and generate work orders for corrective or preventative actions.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain raw material feeds and ensure timely job execution for on-time delivery.
  • Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machinery.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for material handling, record keeping, and shipment preparation.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in English for documentation, communication, and writing tasks.
  • Experience with automated equipment operation, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing instrumentation such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to GMP standards.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift weights as required during shifts.
