Job Description

Overview

  • Play a vital role in ensuring quality standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to uphold quality assurance protocols and enhance operations.
  • Maintain detailed records and input data into electronic systems with precision.
  • Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment, supporting the production of medical devices.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols at all times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct inspections and document results for raw materials and production stages.
  • Ensure calibration and proper functioning of inspection equipment.
  • Generate and review quality records to support the Quality Management System.
  • Assist during regulatory audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and report discrepancies to management for corrective actions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to support manufacturing processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational goals.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; laboratory experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate data handling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift during work shifts.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or laboratory settings is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and quality assurance standards.
