Financial Analyst

Overview

• Contribute to the firm's strategic goals by delivering accurate financial analysis and insights.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to monitor financial performance and inform decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations highlighting key performance indicators.
• Support budgeting, benchmarking, and profitability initiatives with data-driven analysis.
• Utilize advanced tools like Power BI and SQL to manage and analyze complex datasets.
• Act as a thought partner, providing actionable insights derived from financial data.
• Engage in special projects and strategic initiatives with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for leadership review.
• Extract and analyze data from internal systems to fulfill requests.
• Validate and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with various teams on data validation and audit support.
• Support the budgeting process with data input and validation.
• Provide KPI insights to support annual business plans.
• Assist with benchmarking and financial submissions.
• Deliver profitability analyses and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate on strategic projects and management presentations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in financial analysis or data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong command of SQL required.
• Experience with SSRS, Power BI, or similar visualization tools preferred.
• Familiarity with Elite 3E or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
• Proven analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
• Background in professional services or law firm environments preferred.
