Overview
- Lead clinical care operations within a family health outpatient clinic, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and evaluate care processes and technologies effectively.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing leadership and support to maintain high standards of care.
- Act as Nurse Manager in their absence, overseeing operations and personnel management.
- Coordinate ER referrals and ensure seamless patient transitions within the clinic.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with nursing policies, standards, and certifications.
- Support bilingual communication efforts to improve patient engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assess and plan clinical care processes to achieve safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and manage unit supplies, technology, and equipment usage.
- Facilitate leadership and care team meetings, ensuring productive outcomes.
- Coordinate patient referrals and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Implement nursing policies and standards to maintain compliance and quality care.

- Assume managerial responsibilities during Nurse Manager's absence, including hiring and terminations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred for higher compensation.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State with current certifications in BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage nursing staff effectively.
- Proficiency in coordinating patient care and referrals within a clinical environment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred to enhance patient communication.
- Ability to implement and evaluate nursing policies and standards consistently.
- Experience in performance improvement initiatives to optimize clinic operations.
