Job Description

Overview

  • Lead technical ownership of product development in a fast-paced AI-driven startup environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own end-to-end technical decisions across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure.
  • Ship features personally while ensuring team productivity remains unblocked.
  • Lead sprint and weekly planning to maintain tight priorities.
  • Scale adoption of AI coding tools to enhance engineering workflows.
  • Establish reusable patterns and interfaces to streamline development processes.
  • Implement monitoring and alert systems to ensure reliability and security.
  • Mentor team members to raise the engineering quality bar.
  • Recruit and evaluate future hires to expand the team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience, with 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience in microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Redis for caching layers and Docker containerization.
  • Experience with enterprise software compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO).
  • Strong system design and architecture skills for large-scale applications.
  • Ability to manage trade-offs and prioritize product roadmaps effectively.
  • Demonstrated accountability in holding teams to deliverables.
