Overview

  • Support office operations in a dynamic steel company environment, assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth daily workflows.
  • Perform data entry, manage phone communications, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with a small team of professionals in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to maintain organizational efficiency and address office needs.
  • Utilize computer skills to manage office systems and processes effectively.
  • Receive comprehensive training to adapt to company-specific procedures and tools.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain records and databases essential to operations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone communications, providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Assist with general office tasks, including filing, organizing, and maintaining supplies.
  • Support the Office Manager in coordinating schedules, meetings, and administrative functions.
  • Collaborate with team members to address office needs and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Utilize computer systems to process information and generate reports as required.
  • Provide dependable and consistent support to maintain a productive office environment.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of office experience, with 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with office software and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in phone-based customer service interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Dependable and reliable, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific training and procedures.
  • On-site availability from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
