Overview
- Lead and manage healthcare architectural projects, ensuring design excellence and adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
- Perform dual roles as Project Manager and Project Architect, contributing to project design and execution.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, supporting business development initiatives.
- Prepare project presentations and participate in client meetings to communicate project concepts.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
- Utilize BIM (Revit) and other software tools for project planning and execution.
- Contribute to thought leadership in the architecture and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage all phases of project delivery, from schematic design to close-out.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Lead owner/user meetings to incorporate project requirements into construction documents.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts and fee proposals with clients and consultants.
- Conduct code reviews and coordinate approvals with regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure constructability and design intent.
- Support marketing efforts by writing RFPs and participating in client presentations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare architectural project management.
- Professional license as a Registered Architect is required.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit), CAD, and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- Experience with project management certifications like PMP or PSMJ preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
