Overview
- Lead the finance organization of a dynamic SaaS company, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement financial infrastructure for a high-growth enterprise software firm.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the company’s strategic vision and financial strategy.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure predictability and consistency.
- Enhance investor relations by delivering critical financial and operational performance reporting.
- Drive data mining efforts to uncover valuable business insights and optimize decision-making.
- Champion the development of meaningful KPIs and financial metrics at organizational levels.
- Contribute to the evolution of the company’s strategic plan and management scorecard.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and implement financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems to optimize performance.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process at global and departmental levels.
- Develop monthly and annual financial reporting for stakeholders and investors.
- Establish compliance systems to protect assets and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Provide financial advice and decision-making support to senior leadership.
- Implement financial incentives and metrics aligned with business performance goals.
- Maximize returns and minimize risks through effective capital allocation and management.
- Lead investor relations and manage relationships with leading investors in the banking and fintech sectors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles within enterprise software/B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record in scaling SaaS businesses and operationalizing financial best practices.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SaaS accounting, revenue recognition, and financial modeling.
- Experience in M&A, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to lead teams and organizations in high-growth environments.
- Willingness to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, or relocate as necessary.
