Overview
- Contribute to a dynamic family office environment, collaborating with senior leadership to manage accounting operations effectively.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting by reconciling transaction details from bank and brokerage accounts.
- Monitor investment activities, including NAV statements, K-1s, and capital call notices.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive financial data.
- Support payroll and benefits management processes alongside accounts payable operations.
- Collaborate with CFO, Senior Controller, and external stakeholders for seamless financial operations.
- Engage in ad-hoc projects to address organizational needs and enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Reconcile financial transactions and balances from online banking and brokerage systems.
- Track and record investment activities, ensuring accurate valuation updates.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in payroll and benefits management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including family members and professional advisors.
- Prepare financial reports and documentation for senior management review.
- Participate in special projects to improve financial processes and systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial reconciliation and investment tracking.
- Experience with accounts payable and payroll management processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective collaboration skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
