Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting operations for private equity funds, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including HR, finance, and executive leadership, to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and service quality.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements and regulatory forms.
  • Manage capital call notices, waterfall calculations, and distribution processes.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Support business development and marketing efforts, including conferences and client meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with partnership agreements and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review quarterly financial statements for private equity funds.
  • Calculate and distribute capital call notices and proceeds to limited partners.
  • Manage complex waterfall structures and ensure accurate calculations.
  • Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Review investment packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements.
  • Calculate management fees and oversee portfolio management services.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting during periods of growth.
  • Lead team performance management, training, and talent acquisition efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in private equity accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and partnership accounting software.
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in client relationship management and business development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
