Overview

  • Serve as a key contributor to corporate governance, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic initiatives within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee corporate governance and entity management platforms, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Draft, file, and manage corporate documents, including formations, amendments, dissolutions, and compliance submissions.
  • Assist in obtaining EINs and managing IRS submissions, ensuring adherence to tax and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and organize corporate records, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for audits and legal reviews.
  • Support transactions by preparing and managing legal filings and documentation required for execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance legal processes, driving efficiency and compliance tracking.
  • Provide expert guidance on corporate governance frameworks, promoting adherence to best practices.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving corporate legal frameworks and organizational compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, showcasing foundational knowledge in corporate legal practices.
  • Minimum of 10 years of corporate paralegal experience within law firms or in-house legal departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex entity structures and multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Preferred Registered Paralegal (RP) certification, showcasing advanced expertise in paralegal practices.
  • Experience with corporate governance and entity management platforms for compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability for effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
