Overview
- Support procurement operations by managing sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relations to ensure seamless acquisition of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational policies.
- Utilize advanced procurement tools to manage transactions, vendor records, and supplier onboarding effectively.
- Contribute to supplier performance evaluations, negotiations, and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
- Engage in strategic procurement activities to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Provide administrative support to procurement initiatives and assist with special projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of accuracy and detail.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage procurement lifecycle tasks, including requisition intake, sourcing, and purchase order creation.
- Process purchasing transactions using procurement tools, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
- Identify and evaluate vendors, coordinating RFx processes and obtaining competitive quotes.
- Negotiate agreements and renewals to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with internal teams, including Legal and Information Security.
- Support supplier onboarding and maintain vendor records in procurement systems.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Assist with supplier performance reviews and provide administrative support to procurement operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in procurement tools such as Coupa and SAP is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management and purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with IT, software, hardware, professional services, and consulting procurement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work onsite four days a week and adapt to dynamic environments.
