Job Description

Overview

  • Lead demand planning efforts for a global supply chain organization, ensuring accurate forecasts and optimized production plans.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-24 month forecast using Sales & Operations Planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance and customer delivery reliability.
  • Utilize SAP and Power BI tools for data analysis and KPI reporting to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage product lifecycle transitions to minimize excess material and ensure availability for production and service.
  • Support urgent part shortage resolutions to maintain timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead supply chain improvement projects locally and globally to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and development plans for staff to ensure compliance with commercial and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning process to optimize production plans and inventory targets.
  • Analyze demand patterns and maintain planning bill of materials for configured products.
  • Develop and publish timely KPI reports using Microsoft Power BI for performance tracking.
  • Plan product phase-in/phase-out transitions to minimize material obsolescence and ensure availability.
  • Communicate demand changes and provide corrective actions for supply chain issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain operations and data transparency.
  • Provide training and development plans for staff to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with MRP Buyer/Planners and Production Controllers to address demand questions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Planning, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in demand planning, production control, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and planning.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for KPI reporting and data transparency.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and their practical applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain operations.
