Overview

  • Support financial operations, reporting, and compliance within a dynamic real estate organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance financial strategies and processes.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports across multiple entities.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Coordinate annual audits with external CPA firms.
  • Participate in strategic financial planning and special projects.
  • Receive mentorship and training for future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and analyses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Coordinate annual audits with external CPA firms.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to resolve accounting issues.
  • Participate in strategic financial planning and special projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience; 7 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
