Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop tailored intervention plans to address their needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic activities aimed at improving motor skills, cognitive functions, and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide training and education on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance patient independence.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine therapeutic approaches.

Job Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment usage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for patient and caregiver education.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required.
