Overview

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on improving daily living skills and overall independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies, safety precautions, and the use of adaptive equipment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment usage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient and caregiver education.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required.
