Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate shipments tied to the metals and minerals industry, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and purchase orders while tracking delivery schedules and updating customers.
  • Expedite shipment, delivery, and import/export processes, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and documentation standards.
  • Resolve customer issues related to product fulfillment and billing, supporting the sales team with internal communication.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of financial transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain product inventories, preparing monthly sales, purchases, and inventory reports.
  • Collaborate in a multicultural business environment, leveraging excellent communication skills to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate shipments, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and manage invoices, shipping documents, and purchase orders, maintaining accurate records.
  • Track delivery schedules, update customers, and expedite shipment and import/export processes.
  • Ensure adherence to import/export compliance requirements, verifying import duty rates.
  • Resolve customer issues related to product fulfillment and billing, supporting sales operations.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Prepare monthly reports on sales, purchases, and inventory, ensuring data integrity.
  • Monitor and maintain product inventories, ensuring optimal stock levels.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant certifications in logistics preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with industrial products is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing shipments and documentation.
  • Knowledge of import/export compliance requirements and documentation standards.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues effectively and support sales operations.
