Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for credit, hybrid, and venture capital funds, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategic financial initiatives and manage fund-level performance metrics.
  • Oversee fund accounting, treasury, audit, and tax processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax preparers, and administrators to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Support operational procedures, due diligence requests, and capital planning efforts.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain communication with third-party fund administrators.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and oversee fund account payables.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for investor requests and financial reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review monthly and quarterly deliverables from fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze legal documents to determine proper accounting treatment for investments.
  • Calculate and review investment income accruals for credit investments.
  • Supervise month-end and quarter-end close procedures in collaboration with administrators.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax preparers to ensure timely LP deliverables.
  • Prepare fund-level performance indicators for management and investor relations.
  • Manage deliverables for banks and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist with operational procedures, wire transfers, and documentation management.
  • Support capital calls and oversee cash reconciliation processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in fund finance or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and consolidation accounting.
  • Ability to manage complex financial projects and deliverables.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of independent problem-solving.
  • Experience collaborating with auditors, tax preparers, and fund administrators.
