Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee the complete Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Lead system improvement initiatives within financial platforms to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with Payroll functions to ensure compliant and efficient disbursement management globally.
- Develop and mentor team members, setting performance goals and promoting best practices.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving disputes effectively and ensuring service excellence.
- Analyze and report on Accounts Payable metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements to management.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in financial systems, particularly Workday Financials, with expertise in AP and Expenses modules.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and global tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with excellent organizational abilities.
- Experience managing and motivating geographically dispersed teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in financial services, technology, or similar industries.
