Overview

  • Drive quality assurance for mechanical systems in high-impact construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize HVAC and plumbing installations, contributing to project success and system reliability.
  • Apply engineering expertise to resolve technical challenges, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Participate in system testing, commissioning, and validation processes to uphold rigorous quality protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
  • Engage with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting professional excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review mechanical system designs and specifications for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspect installations of piping, ductwork, insulation, and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor commissioning processes for HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to address challenges and maintain project progress.
  • Document and resolve non-conforming work, ensuring timely progression and adherence to standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to teams, fostering effective achievement of project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols during project execution.
  • Promote continuous improvement and professional excellence in all responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction or quality assurance roles; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry standards such as ASME, ASHRAE, and NFPA, with demonstrated application.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills to address project challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and ensuring project alignment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Commitment to professional standards of excellence and ethical conduct.
