Overview

  • Collaborate with finance professionals to design and implement data automation solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations using Python, C#, and Azure technologies.
  • Utilize business process automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support reporting and analytics through structured data models and reliable pipelines.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and implement automation workflows to eliminate manual processes across finance operations.
  • Develop integrations using REST APIs and maintain clean, reliable code in Python and C#.
  • Generate and parse structured file formats for reporting and document automation.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines leveraging Azure SQL and Power Query technologies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and teams to assess and extend automation platforms.
  • Support Power BI reporting through structured data models and reliable pipelines.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities and resolve business challenges.
  • Explore and implement AI tools to enhance workflows responsibly and effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python and C# programming languages.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and structured file formats.
  • Familiarity with business process automation tools like Power Automate and Workato.
  • Foundational knowledge of private equity or financial services operations.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
