Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Conduct background checks, employee eligibility verifications, and oversee new hire orientation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Review and document compliance with mandatory training and continuing education requirements.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries, referring complex matters to appropriate staff.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and oversee workflow of subordinate staff.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR management experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and adapting to shared workspace dynamics.
