Job Description

Overview

  • Manage on-site construction activities for diverse commercial projects up to $20M.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to management.
  • Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities ensuring adherence to plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers and architects for seamless execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of materials to the site.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
  • Train and oversee on-site personnel to optimize performance.
  • Handle client interactions and address concerns professionally.
  • Ensure documentation and record-keeping for project activities.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control processes.
