Overview

  • Lead strategic financing initiatives to optimize funding, liquidity, and cost of capital for a dynamic financial organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate loan data and reporting integrity for financing operations.
  • Engage with lenders, investors, and senior leadership to drive impactful capital markets strategies and decisions.
  • Analyze loan portfolio performance and credit trends to inform strategic funding approaches and risk management.
  • Prepare comprehensive investor and lender reporting packages, including performance updates and transaction materials.
  • Support diligence, legal documentation, and closing processes for financing transactions and amendments.
  • Contribute to capital strategy optimization by evaluating new funding sources and improving financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage relationships with banks, institutional investors, and financing partners to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
  • Monitor borrowing base performance, advance rates, eligibility criteria, and covenant compliance across funding lines.
  • Partner with Credit, FP&A, Accounting, and Operations teams to maintain accurate financial data and reporting.
  • Analyze credit trends and funding utilization to support strategic financing decisions and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare detailed reporting packages for investors and lenders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Assist in legal documentation and closing processes for financing transactions and amendments.
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to optimize capital structure and funding sources for organizational growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • 8-10 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in asset-backed securitizations, warehouse lending, and structured credit products.
  • Strong understanding of loan portfolios, collateral performance, and credit risk metrics.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills for conducting complex analyses.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with cross-functional exposure.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with external financing partners and internal stakeholders.
