Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the orthopedic med/surg unit during 12-hour night shifts.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about post-treatment care and health management strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
- Unrestricted RN license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 3 years preferred.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PEARS are required; advanced certifications preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC systems and bilingual Spanish skills are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic med/surg nursing practices and protocols.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
