Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction project management for energy efficiency projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement sustainable energy solutions for various facilities.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontract negotiations to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee technical due diligence, risk management, and performance guarantees during project implementation.
  • Ensure quality control and safety compliance across all construction activities and site operations.
  • Develop and implement measurement-based monitoring and verification plans for energy conservation measures.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, including Associate Project Managers and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management during project phases.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor personnel to ensure project success.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to project specifications.
  • Prepare and oversee project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct technical due diligence, addressing risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate commissioning protocols and post-implementation operations and maintenance plans.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to organizational growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant construction project management experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong knowledge of energy systems, HVAC, and sustainability practices.
  • Experience in safety and quality control standards and procedures.
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel extensively or relocate as required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
