Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational management for CLOs, ensuring compliance and efficiency in warehouse lending and securitization processes.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk teams, and external service providers to streamline operations.
  • Provide operational guidance and oversight during the CLO ramp-up and securitization phases.
  • Manage internal controls and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in industry conferences and contribute to strategic initiatives for operational improvements.
  • Oversee asset, position, and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Review and approve trustee reports, supporting effective CLO management practices.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to support the expanding CLO business.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage CLO operations, including warehouse ramp-up and securitization phases.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external service providers for CLO-related inquiries.
  • Provide operational guidance on CLO deal documents during drafting and execution.
  • Coordinate warehouse facilities and oversee CLO deal closings with stakeholders.
  • Review models and analyses for compliance with CLO indenture requirements.
  • Assist portfolio managers in trading analyses and asset allocation adjustments.
  • Monitor daily reconciliations and compliance reporting for CLO operations.
  • Participate in strategic projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • 5-8 years of experience in CLO operations, including warehouse and securitization phases.
  • Proficiency in CLO systems such as WSO Compliance, Sentry, Solvas, Allvue, and Moody’s Analytics.
  • Knowledge of syndicated bank loans, risk retention compliance, and CLO indentures.
  • Strong communication skills for client meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience managing outsourced providers and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg; familiarity with SQL and database tools is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive operational improvements.
