Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
  • Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, for optimal project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts to address challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience managing large-scale projects exceeding $40M in scope.
  • Proven expertise in earthwork, underground utilities, and foundation construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and oversee project activities directly.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
  • Experience with project documentation, scheduling, and budget management.
