- Document and manage design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Architect and design complex digital and analog electrical systems for modular and rugged applications.
- Develop FPGA-based circuitry, memory architectures, and high-speed interfaces for hardware platforms.
- Design and validate AC/DC and DC/DC power supply topologies for deployable systems.
- Conduct electrical analysis, including signal integrity, EMI/EMC mitigation, and reliability testing.
- Collaborate with RF, software, and mechanical teams to deliver integrated systems.
- Oversee prototype-to-production transitions, ensuring scalability and compliance with standards.
- Lead design reviews and validation efforts, including Design Verification Testing (DVT).
- Document and manage electrical design specifications, BOMs, and compliance reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical design, including schematic capture and PCB design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like Altium Designer for PCB design and simulation.
- Experience with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 compliance for environmental durability and EMI/EMC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in electrical engineering projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team-based and independent environments.
- Knowledge of DFM techniques for PCB/PCBA production and assembly processes.
- U.S. citizenship required for compliance with security regulations.
