Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead mechanical design and prototyping efforts for subsystem and system-level products.
  • Conduct detailed mechanical analysis using FEA, tolerance analysis, and testing methods.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Develop and analyze high-fidelity proof-of-concept prototypes for validation.
  • Utilize simulation tools for thermal and structural analysis to optimize designs.
  • Document and manage design specifications and production processes rigorously.
  • Apply knowledge of MIL standards and design for harsh operational environments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and system integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and fabrication equipment.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and single-board computers.
  • Experience with simulation tools for thermal and structural analysis.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles including heat transfer and EMI.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and presenting complex ideas.
