Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software.
• Create RFIs, proposals, and takeoffs to support project bidding processes.
• Identify scopes of work and develop comprehensive bid lists for projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
• Utilize Bluebeam, MS Project, and specialized estimating software effectively.
• Analyze project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all estimating activities.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to refine project scopes and estimates.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/utility estimating; 4 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, and specialized estimating software.
• Strong ability to create RFIs, proposals, and takeoffs effectively.
• Experience in identifying scopes of work and developing bid lists.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills for accurate estimating.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with project teams.
