Overview
- Support corporate and transactional real estate attorneys in legal and administrative matters.
- Manage commercial real estate transactions, contracts, and post-closing documentation.
- Coordinate corporate governance tasks, including SEC filings and board communications.
- Prepare and manage contracts, schedules, exhibits, and confidentiality agreements.
- Handle entity management, including forming entities and filing necessary documents.
- Assist with title-related matters, such as policies, searches, and commitments.
- Utilize software tools like Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and DocuSign for efficient workflow.
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment fostering growth and learning.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and organize corporate and transactional documents for storage and retrieval.
- Coordinate and respond to Know Your Customer (KYC) requests effectively.
- Prepare and file annual reports, amendments, and certificates with relevant authorities.
- Draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements and estoppel certificates.
- Collaborate with senior executives and board members on governance matters.
- Utilize analytical skills to solve complex problems and meet deadlines.
- Ensure confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Support title-related processes, including searches and commitments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred; Associate degree required.
- Paralegal certificate required with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint, and DocuSign.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with SEC filings, corporate governance, and entity management.
- Knowledge of title policies, searches, and commitments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion effectively.
- Experience with Diligent Boards platform is a plus.
