Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Fund Accountant embedded within a client’s finance team, ensuring seamless operations and collaboration.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, incentive allocation models, and capital contribution calculations.
  • Support audits, investor inquiries, and ad hoc analyses with precision and expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align processes and reporting standards.
  • Maintain proficiency in key systems, including Investran Live and CRM platforms.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, emphasizing integrity and ethics.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to build and maintain complex financial models.
  • Participate in the preparation of supplemental management and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Support capital contribution and distribution calculations, management fee calculations, and cash reconciliations.
  • Coordinate audits and provide comprehensive support schedules for auditors.
  • Collaborate with client teams to address investor inquiries and internal requests.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed timelines and deliverables with high accuracy.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of financial systems and reporting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support for client-specific projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in private equity or partnership accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with Investran Live or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
